Figure Development

I'm touching up my figures for my portfolio one thing thtas bugging me is their faces are all looking very different apart from that i think they look really good and they look better than i origionally planed for them to look like!

The top picture is a simplified passion flower done in water colour the bottom flower is done in ink i prefer the ink one i am going to try different mediums till i find the right one to use

First Print Designs

These are my first initial print designs the one on the left was created using the stamen, i dont think i like this design it is too repetetive. I do like the one on the right, however i will need to work on it because im still not entirely happy with it.

Stamen

I found the stamen of the flower particularly interesting when carrying out my research, i do believe this will be quite complicated if i choose to do heated print cutting all of the parts out with a scalpul may take a long time!

I have completed the same section of the flower both in pencil and in ink, i prefer the pencil version but different people have different opinions.

Developing Print

I have explored passion flowers i wanted to choose a different flower for my print, this being the one that attracted my attention the most, has vibrant colours and it is very detailed. I started by doing a few pencil studies, drawing them with coloured pencil.
